| The White House Has Been Sold Markham, ON, Canada April 30th, 2007 - The "white house" as many local residents refer to it, located at 28 Belmont Ave. Yorkville has been sold. The one hundred plus year old home was purchased by Mr. K Narang, CEO and Chair of a multi-national company. The property which was built between 1885 and 1905 by a local businessman who owned a brick factory was referred to, as the Manor House. Mr. Narang made the following comments: "I am very pleased with this purchase. This house speaks volumes with regards to its history. The house and location exceeds our expectations with regards to our initial requirements." Arun Mehta, President & CEO of the Richmond Group of Companies who negotiated the transaction on behalf of Mr. Narang made the following comments: "This is a one of a kind property which has a great deal of history to it. We are quite proud that we were specifically requested by Mr. Narang to handle this very significant transaction on his behalf." Either party would not disclose the purchase price of the home.
