| Mayor of Vaughan Welcomes International Restaurant Chain Markham, ON, Canada October 17th, 2007 - Vaughan's Mayor Linda Jackson welcomed the international restaurant chain Nawab which selected the City of Vaughan as its first North American location. Richmond Realty Group was the real estate broker selected to handle this real estate transaction on behalf of the restaurant chain. The Vaughan location is the ninth restaurant of this chain which started in 1989 in Nairobi, Kenya. Other locations are Kampala, Uganda, Kuala Lampur, Malaysia, and four restaurants are located in Dubai U.A.E. One restaurant is currently under construction in Poona, India. The Vaughan restaurant is located at 7700 Bathurst Street. The chain specializes in authentic Indian Mughlai dishes.
